MLIFE STAFF -PETER MTONGA SCOOPS FIRST POSITION IN THE LAFARGE 5KM MARATHON RACE<br>
On Saturday 30th April, Peter proved his a man with quite a few talents, as he moved from his comfort zone “office” into the streets of Lusaka by participating in the Lafarge 5KM Marathon race and won FIRST PLACE…
Not only did he improve his cardiovascular health—a well-known benefit of marathon racing—but Also, in the process he managed to raise some money towards charity as the proceeds raised from the Marathon go towards supporting needy institutions such as the Mother of Mercy Hospice in Chilanga, Cheshire Homes, Arthur Davidson Hospital in Ndola, to name a few.
Not too, shabby… Congratulations Peter!!!
This is the 3rd year the Marathon has taken place, it is an initiative of the Lafarge Cement Zambia Plc in Partnership with the Zambia Amateur Athletic Association (ZAAA). This Event is designed to promote Wellness and raise the Spirit and Values of a Marathon in the Country.
